Patente de Invenção "DISPOSITIVO COM PLACAS, ESFERAS E UM PORTA-ESFERAS DE ROLAMENTO DE CENTRALIZAçãO" que compreende duas placas (8, 9), onde pelo menos uma delas gira; várias cavidades guia (80, 81, 90, 91) formadas em pelo menos uma destas placas; várias esferas correspondentes (10, 11, 12) encaixadas nas cavidades e presas entre as duas placas; e um disco de apoio (14) colocado entre as placas e perfurado com alojamentos circulares (140, 141, 142), onde as esferas são mantidas em relativas posições angulares fixas; o disco de apoio possui, em cada um de suas faces (148, 149), uma protuberância central (148a, 149a), encaixada à força em um furo axial correspondente (84, 94) da placa situada no lado oposto desta protuberância, onde está característica permite que este dispositivo de aplicação de freio seja montado na forma de uma unidade mecânica.
