Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B> "BIORREATOR COM BACTéRIAS DE áCIDO LáCTICO IMOBILIZADAS E O USO DO MESMO. " A invenção refere-se a um biorreator com bactérias de ácido láctico imobilizadas que é caracterizado pelo fato de que as bactérias são foxadas sobre a superfície de um carreador ou veículo substancialmente não compressível que é composto de uma matriz contínua, porosa ou de partículas porosas encrespadas ou reticulares, a matriz ou as partículas tendo um estrutura de uma pluralidade livremente associada de micropartículas ou microfibras que estão unidas às outras quimicamente, adesivamente ou mecanicamente, pelo menos em alguns pontos de contato entre as micropartículas ou microfibras individuais. Preferivelmente as micropartículas ou microfibras compreendem ou consistem em um material, preferivelmente uma resina, tendo capacidade de troca de ânion. Uma modalidade preferida do carreador inclui DEAE-celulose, as micropartículas e microfibras estando aglomeradas com poliestireno. O biorreator acima pode ser aplicado na produção em grande escala de produtos resultantes do metabolismo de bactérias de ácido láctico e na modificação da composição da corrente de alimentação.
