Abstract

"ENGATE RáPIDO PARA ALTA PRESSãO". A presente invenção é um engate rápido para alta pressão, especialmente para uso em linhas de conexão de freio de um veículo. O engate inclui um alojamento, o qual, de forma seletiva, recebe uma tampa retentora de tubo. Dispositivos de retenção, tal como uma mola em anel ou um anel de encaixe, permitem uma baixa força de inserção da tampa no alojamento com uma força de tração muito alta. A tampa é usada para prender o tubo com um recalque de friso, e o tubo pode ser removido após a tampa estar destravada. Uma segunda forma de liberar o tubo inclui o uso de um tampão retentor de tubo recebido, de forma seletiva, na tampa, o recalque sendo preso entre o tampão e a tampa. O tampão pode ser removido enquanto a tampa ainda estiver travada no alojamento, liberando o tubo. Uma ferramenta de liberação pode ser usada para destravar a tampa do alojamento. Um anel indicador de inserção é usado para estabelecer o travamento da tampa no alojamento. Um protetor contra poeira evita que contaminantes interfiram com a operação do engate.
