BRIEF INTRODUCTION: This Utility Model Patent application refers to an improvement introduced in equipment, notably Double Aeration Ore Flotation Column, whose function is the separation of ore of interest to other minerals. 2. FIELD OF APPLICATION: This equipment was developed from the latest technology, in order to overcome deficiencies, alleviate difficulties and solve problems previously encountered by users of the sector, more specifically, Mining, treatment and separation. 3. DESCRIPTION OF THE TECHNICAL STATUS: During the development of this equipment, numerous researches were carried out to identify the existence of any previous or related products. Such surveys, however, did not indicate the existence of any other system with the same preponderant or functional technical characteristics. 4. In turn, the State of the Art currently describes equipment with aerators at the bottom of the column, initially placing the bubble in contact with low quality material (which is about to be discarded as unflotted), worsening the selectivity of the material, this is because after the bubble adsorbs on the particle, this bonding may not come undone, and in turn this bubble will drag the particle over to the overflow and leave no bubble area available to collect the particles of interest. 5. Equipment on the market is nothing like the equipment in question, the protection of which is claimed in this report. They have distinct technical and functional characteristics, and keep to themselves individual peculiarities. 6. Given the limitations and difficulties encountered in existing products, this system was created, more precisely, Double Aeration Flotation Column, being a unique, exclusive and innovative equipment, highly reliable and recommended for industrial use. commercial, able to obtain better yields, performance and results. 7. BACKGROUND: The fundamentals of innovation of this equipment, are directly related to the fact that the use of the same column feed pump to mix with the air, not needing another additional pump to do the pulp recirculation. The air is mixed with the new feed and not with material that is at the bottom of the column almost being discarded as unflotted. 8. Particles of interest to float that accompany the new feed have the opportunity to contact the air bubbles that have just been injected into the mixer, ie the bubbles are fully exposed for adsorption increasing the efficiency of the process. 9. TROUBLESHOOTING: The use of such equipment, specifically for ore separation, will certainly address important issues related, for example, to the increase in energy consumption when placing the pulp recirculation aeration system, because it uses the same pump used. to supply power without the need to install an additional pump. Furthermore, it prevents unwanted mineral particles to float from being collected by the bubbles occupying their surface leaving no area available to collect what is really of interest. In current systems the bubble comes in contact with the poorer pulp that is in the column (material that is at the bottom of the column about to be discarded as unflotted) and in the new system the bubble comes in contact with the new feed ie the particles of interest to float. 10. The use of this equipment will also result in numerous benefits and technical and commercial advantages to the consumer, among which we highlight the contact of all pulp fed with air bubbles at the same time. The material of interest to be collected has the opportunity to contact clean bubbles without adsorbing to mixed particles, so the particles to be collected have the largest surface of bubbles available for adsorption. In the conventional system, the bubbles leave the aerator and come into contact with the poorer pulp at the end of the column, almost being discarded as unflotted. Bubbles come into contact with food only when they have traveled two thirds of the column. Bubbles may have their surface already occupied by second-rate materials and have no area available to collect what is of most interest. 11. Reduction of energy consumption and maintenance when working with pulp recirculation aeration system. The feed pump does the work of mixing the pulp with air and does not require an additional pump. 12. - Pressurized feed in an air / pulp mixer solves a critical pulp distribution problem to feed more than one column with the same material flow. 13. Allows recovery of thicker material due to the collected material making a shorter path to overflow with less chance of discarding and circulating charge formation within the column. 14. Higher capacity and operation with higher solids percentage consequently saving water and number of columns. The collected fraction makes its way from feed to overflow leaving less mass in the lower two thirds of the column. In the current system the mass has to occupy every column to have a chance of being adsorbed by the air bubble and transported to the column overflow. 15. The double aeration flotation column is a major improvement for mining because it will enable projects that rely on better efficiency in the mineral separation process and require little investment to change current equipment in operation. Through the double aeration system, there will be better performance and efficiency of the processes consequently greater financial return. 16. FIGURES: For a clear and objective understanding of the provisions applied in this Improvement, as well as the functional characteristics of the equipment, drawings will be presented in a demonstrative manner, with reference to the following report. 17. Initially, FIGURE 1 illustrates: Pulp feed (1 A); air inlet (2); foam pulp interface (3), Flotated (4); Aerator (5); cleaning zone (6); collection or recovery zone (7); not floated (8) and flush water inlet (9). Likewise, it illustrates a schematic representation of the flotation column equipment (A) and its operation, which is described below: The column is filled with water to approximately one meter below the top, at two thirds of the height the pulp is fed. (IA) already conditioned with the reagents called collectors (inducers of hydrophobicity of the particles) and at the base of the column is injected air (2), which passes through the so-called aerators (5) to generate microbubbles. The microbubbles rise, adhere to hydrophobic mineral particles going downstream, are collected and transported to the top while the other particles continue to descend and are removed at the bottom by pumps or drain valves. At the top, approximately one meter, is the foam layer, which contains the particle-laden air bubbles and overflows into flotation material collection chutes (4). As unwanted particulate drag occurs, water is added to wash the foam. There are several types of aerators that inject air bubbles at the base of the column: aerators that inject air, aerators that inject air / water mix and aerators do pulp recirculation by mixing with air. Always aiming to generate microbubbles. The higher the number of bubbles for a given amount of air, the greater the possibility of better results due to the larger specific surface of the bubble to adsorb to ore particles. FIGURE 2 illustrates: Air / Pulp Mixer (1B); air inlet (2); foam pulp interface (3), Flotated (4); Aerator (5); cleaning zone (6); collection or recovery zone (7); not floated (8) and flush water inlet (9). It also illustrates a schematic representation of the double aeration flotation column (A) equipment and its operation: the column is filled with water to approximately one meter below the top, the pulp already conditioned with the collection reagents is pumped into a system. air mixture, is injected into the column at two thirds of its height. At the base of the column is injected air (2), which passes through the so-called aerators (5) to generate microbubbles. The hydrophobic particles already adsorb to air bubbles in the mixer (pulp / air) and when they are fed into the column they start the ascent process to the foam layer and overflow as floated. Particles that are not adsorbed by air bubbles in the mixer prior to feeding will back-flow the process with air bubbles that are injected into the base of the column and have a second chance of being collected increasing the efficiency of the equipment. Other operating principles are not changed from current equipment. 19. It should be clarified that the model represented here is illustrated for demonstrative and not restrictive purposes. 20. Accordingly, in accordance with Article 9 of Industrial Property Law No. 9,279 / 96 and for all the aspects set forth in this report, the subject-matter of the present patent application deserves protection as a Utility Model, which is now claimed. .
