método de pré-tratamento de um substrato metálico, substrato metálico pré-tratado, processo de conformação a frio, e, composição lubrificante aquosa. a presente invenção refere-se a um método de pré-tratamento de um substrato metálico para um subsequente processo de conformação a frio de metal, o dito método compreendendo pelo menos as etapas (1) e (2), ou seja, prover pelo menos um substrato tendo pelo menos uma superfície pelo menos parcialmente feita de pelo menos um metal (etapa (1)), colocar pelo menos uma superfície do substrato provido na etapa (1) em contato com uma composição lubrificante aquosa (b) (etapa (2)), em que a composição lubrificante aquosa (b) compreende além da água pelo menos os constituintes (b1) a (b4) e opcionalmente (b5), nomeadamente como (b1) pelo menos um homopolímero e/ou copolímero sendo preparado por polimerização de pelo menos vinil pirrolidona como pelo menos um monômero, em que (b1) tem um índice de polidispersividade (pdi) na faixa de 1,5 a 8,0, como (b2) pelo menos uma cera, como (b3) pelo menos um antiespumante e como (b4) (i) ânions de oxalato e/ou ânions de fosfato ou (ii) cátions de cálcio, ânions de cloreto e ânions de hidróxido, bem como opcionalmente íons de fe(iii) como (b5), em que (b5) está presente no caso de pelo menos ânions de oxalato estarem presentes como (b4), um substrato metálico pré-tratado obtenível pelo método da invenção, um método de conformação a frio de um substrato metálico e uma composição lubrificante aquosa (b) conforme definido acima.
