dispositivos, sistemas e métodos para controlar gases de respiro e matéria ejetada de eventos de fuga térmica em sistemas de armazenamento de energia. a presente invenção refere-se a materiais e a sistemas para gerenciar problemas de fuga térmica em módulos de bateria. em modalidades exemplificativas, um módulo de bateria inclui células de bateria separa-das por elementos espaçadores. a fim de mitigar os problemas de fuga térmica, os elementos espaçadores podem ser estendidos até a superfície interior do invólucro. uma vedação é formada entre os elementos espaçadores e a parede interior para formar uma barreira térmica entre células de bateria adjacentes.
