Abstract

processo para a descarbonatação de calcário, dolomita ou outros materiais carbonatados e dispositivo para a descarbonatação de calcário, dolomita ou outros materiais carbonatados. a presente invenção se refere a um processo para a descarbonatação de calcário, dolomita ou outros materiais carbonatados, compreendendo os seguintes passos: - aquecimento das partículas de materiais carbonatados (6) em um reator (8) de um primeiro circuito (2) para se obter partículas descarbonatadas (16); - transporte das partículas de materiais carbonatados (6) por um primeiro gás de arraste (4) no primeiro circuito (2) para pré-aquecimento, compreendendo o referido gás (4) o referido dióxido de carbono, sendo a referida composição de gás substancialmente isenta de nitrogênio; - separação das partículas carbonatadas (6) a partir de um fluxo do primeiro gás de arraste (4); - transferência das partículas descarbonatadas (16) para uma seção de resfriamento (22) de um segundo circuito (12) compreendendo um segundo gás de arraste (14), na qual as partículas descarbonatadas transportadas (16) liberam uma porção de sua energia térmica; - separação das partículas descarbonatadas (16) a partir de um fluxo do segundo gás de arraste (14); em que o referido segundo gás de arraste (14) é substancialmente isento de dióxido de carbono, e ao dispositivo do mesmo.
