Abstract
SISTEMAS E MÉTODOS PARA VARREDURA DE FEIXE PARA POSICIONAMENTO DE NOVO RÁDIO. As técnicas reveladas incluem selecionar, a partir de um primeiro número de primeiros feixes de recepção (RX) tendo uma primeira largura de feixe, um primeiro feixe RX para formar um primeiro par de feixes com um primeiro feixe de transmissão (TX) a partir de uma ou mais estações base, a seleção sendo baseada em uma primeira medição de um primeiro sinal de referência recebido pelo UE utilizando o primeiro par de feixes; selecionar, a partir de um segundo número de segundos feixes RX tendo uma segunda largura de feixe, um segundo feixe RX para formar um segundo par de feixes com o primeiro feixe TX, a seleção sendo baseada em uma segunda medição de um segundo sinal de referência recebido pelo UE utilizando o segundo par de feixes, a segunda largura de feixe sendo mais estreita do que a primeira largura de feixe; e executar uma operação de estimativa de localização utilizando o segundo par de feixes ou um terceiro par de feixes derivado do segundo par de feixes.
