Abstract

PROCESSO PARA A PRODUÇÃO DE FERRO-ESPONJA CEMENTADO. O presente pedido diz respeito a um processo para a produção de ferro-esponja cementado. O processo compreende as etapas de - reduzir pelotas de minério de ferro usando um gás redutor pobre em carbono em um reator de cuba de redução direta para fornecer um intermediário de ferro-esponja; - transferir o intermediário de ferro-esponja a uma unidade de cementação; e - cementar o intermediário de ferro-esponja na unidade de cementação usando um gás cementador para fornecer ferro-esponja cementado. O pedido adicionalmente diz respeito a um sistema para a produção de ferro-esponja cementado, um ferro-esponja cementado produzido pelo processo supracitado e um intermediário de ferro-esponja obtido durante a produção de tal ferro-esponja cementado.
