Abstract

SOJA COM PROTEÍNA DE SEMENTE ALTERADA. Trata-se de plantas de soja e sementes de soja que compreendem quantidades aumentadas de aminoácidos essenciais, como metionina, triptofano ou lisina. As plantas de soja, sementes de soja e composições de proteína de soja que compreendem uma proteína glicinina modificada, quantidades modificadas de glicinina e beta-conglicinina, ou ambas, têm aumentos em um ou mais aminoácidos essenciais. As composições de proteína que têm aminoácidos essenciais aumentados podem ser feitas das sementes de soja. Adicionalmente, métodos para gerar e usar plantas, sementes e composições de proteína que têm quantidades aumentadas de aminoácidos essenciais são revelados.
