Abstract
GEODIRECIONAMENTO AUTOMATIZADO COM BASE EM UMA DISTÂNCIA ATÉ O CONTATO ÓLEO-ÁGUA. Os exemplos aqui descritos fornecem um método implementado por computador para execução de geodirecionamento automatizado. O método inclui receber, por meio de um sistema de processamento, dados de avaliação da formação provenientes de um conjunto de fundo de poço disposto em um furo de poço. O método inclui adicionalmente determinar, por meio do sistema de processamento, dados de posição do contorno de uma formação a partir dos dados de avaliação da formação. O método inclui adicionalmente extrapolar, por meio do sistema de processamento, os dados de posição para gerar dados de posição extrapolados do contorno da formação. O método inclui adicionalmente ajustar uma trajetória do furo de poço com base ao menos em parte nos dados de posição extrapolados do contorno da formação.
