Abstract

CABOS DE CONTROLE COMPÓSITOS E TENDÕES ESTABILIZADORES PARA APLICAÇÕES EM AERONAVE E MÉTODO PARA A FABRICAÇÃO DOS MESMOS. Cabos e tendões de controle e estabilização para aeronaves e dirigíveis de altas altitudes tendo peso leve, de alta resistência e baixo CTE são divulgados, junto com um método e máquina para a fabricação dos mesmos. O cabo é composto por uma estopa pré-impregnada em fibra envolvida em uma capa de polímero com uma bobina em cada extremidade para facilitar as conexões. A consolidação da estopa pré-impregnada em fibra ao longo do comprimento do cabo usando tubos retráteis de alta temperatura, tais como fluoreto de polivinilideno (PVDF), permite a eliminação da torção da estopa pré-impregnada em fibra, reduzindo assim o número de voltas em torno das bobinas. A eliminação das torções na estopa pré-impregnada em fibra também reduz o comprimento de fibra necessário e, portanto, a mudança total no comprimento do cabo de controle com as variações de temperatura é reduzida. A resistência adicional do cabo pode ser obtida adicionando e mantendo tensão significativa na estopa pré-impregnada em fibra aplicando peso durante o processo de cura.
