Abstract

DISPOSITIVOS, SISTEMAS E MÉTODOS PARA DETECTAR, E DISCERNIR ENTRE, TECIDO ADIPOSO E MUSCULAR DURANTE PROCEDIMENTOS MÉDICOS. A presente invenção está direcionada a dispositivos, sistemas e métodos para detectar e discernir se uma porção distal de uma cânula ou sonda para enxerto de gordura está disposta em tecido adiposo ou em tecido muscular, durante procedimentos de enxerto de gordura. Em um aspecto da presente invenção, é provida uma cânula ou sonda para enxerto de gordura incluindo um primeiro e um segundo eletrodos. Cada eletrodo está acoplado a um circuito, por exemplo, disposto em um gerador eletrocirúrgico. Durante um procedimento de enxerto de gordura, os eletrodos entram em contato com o tecido do paciente. Com base nos sinais recebidos de cada eletrodo, o circuito está configurado para determinar se uma porção distal da cânula para enxerto de gordura está disposta em um tecido adiposo ou em tecido muscular. Se o circuito determinar que a cânula para enxerto de gordura está disposta em tecido muscular, o cirurgião que opera a cânula para enxerto de gordura é alertado, para garantir que a gordura processada não seja injetada no tecido muscular do paciente.
