Abstract

SISTEMA CIRÚRGICO E PROCEDIMENTO PARA TRATAMENTO DA MALHA TRABECULAR E CANAL DE SCHLEMM USANDO UM LASER DE FEMTOSSEGUNDO. Um volume alvo de tecido ocular é tratado com um laser tendo uma direção de propagação em direção ao volume alvo, onde o volume alvo é caracterizado por uma extensão distal, uma extensão proximal, e uma extensão lateral. Uma camada de tecido em uma profundidade inicial correspondente à extensão distal do volume alvo é inicialmente fotodisrompida usando um laser de femtossegundo por varredura do laser em múltiplas direções definindo um plano de tratamento inicial. O tecido em uma ou mais profundidades subsequentes entre a extensão distal do volume alvo e a extensão proximal do volume alvo é subsequentemente fotodisrompida usando um laser de femtossegundo movendo um foco do laser em uma direção oposta à direção de propagação do laser e, em seguida, a varredura do laser em múltiplas direções definindo um plano de tratamento subsequente.
