processo e reator para oxidação catalítica de amôna. um processo para a oxidação catalítica de amônia, compreendendo: passagem de um gás contendo amônia, na presença de oxigênio, sobre um catalisador (5) contido em um reator (1); obtenção de um gás de processo contendo óxidos de nitrogênio; e resfriamento de referido gás de processo com um trocador de calor (6) acomodado no reator; em que uma porção (13) de referido gás de processo, localizada na lateral de casco (concha), se desvia do trocador de calor e forma uma corrente quente que se mistura com gás resfriado (12) à jusante do trocador de calor; e o desvio é regulado com base sobre uma temperatura de saída alvo do gás de processo misturado (14).
