A presente invenção refere-se a um sistema de filtro (100) compreendendo um alojamento (110), uma entrada de fluido (102) formada em uma parede do alojamento (112), uma saída de fluido (108) formada em uma parede do alojamento (120), um elemento de filtro primário (50) e um elemento de filtro secundário (10), ambos sendo acomodados no alojamento (110). O elemento de filtro secundário (10) está disposto a jusante o elemento de filtro primário (50) em um tubo vertical (150), o tubo vertical (150) sendo rigidamente conectado a uma das paredes do alojamento (120), o lado interno do tubo vertical (150) estando em conexão fluida com a saída de fluido (108). O elemento de filtro secundário (10) compreende um meio de filtragem (16) formando um corpo (36) tendo pelo menos uma costura longitudinal (18) ao longo de um eixo longitudinal (L) e uma tampa de extremidade (20) em sua região superior (12). O elemento de filtro secundário (10) e o tubo vertical (150) são mutualmente conectados a uma de suas regiões superiores (12, 152) por elementos de conexão (22, 156). O elemento de filtro secundário (10) e o tubo vertical (150) são configurados com elementos de autoposicionamento mútuo (30, 180) para dispor o elemento de filtro secundário (10) no tubo vertical (150) em uma posição rotacional definida com relação a um ou mais suportes (170) do tubo vertical (150).
