Abstract

ferramenta genética otimizada para modificar as bactérias. a presente invenção se refere à transformação e à modificação genética de bactérias pertencentes ao filo das firmicutes. a mesma se refere ainda a métodos, ferramentas e kits que permitem uma tal modificação genética, que implica em particular em uma sequência de ácido nucleico utilizada para facilitar a transformação da bactéria, em que a dita sequência compreende i) toda ou parte da sequência seq id no: 126 e ii) uma sequência que permite a modificação do material genético de uma bactéria e/ou a expressão no seio da dita bactéria de uma sequência de dna parcialmente ou totalmente ausente do material genético presente no seio da versão selvagem da dita bactéria. a descrição visa também as bactérias geneticamente modificadas obtidas e suas utilizações, em particular para produzir um solvente, de preferência na escala industrial.
