bactérias termofílicas extremas do gênero caldicellulosiruptor adequadas para a conversão de biomassa celulósica e de amido. a tecnologia fornecida neste documento refere-se a células bacterianas termofílicas extremas celulolíticas isoladas inovadoras pertencentes ao gênero caldicellulosiruptor, mutantes do mesmo, cepas isoladas, culturas microbianas e composições microbianas. as bactérias inovadoras são, em particular, adequadas para a produção de produtos de fermentação, como ácido láctico proveniente de qualquer fonte de carbono, não limitado ao material celulósico, mas especialmente útil para converter biomassa celulósica como biomassa lignocelulósica e/ou biomassa que contém amido.
