Abstract

a presente invenção refere-se a uma prótese (500) reversa da glenoide do ombro que suporta a fixação de múltiplos tipos diferentes de acessórios modulares capazes de: 1) prover fixação escapular adicional (ou seja, fora da glenoide) de modo a aprimorar a fixação de implante de glenoide em casos de perda óssea/fratura severa, 2) prover a lateralização da linha de articulação para aumentar a estabilidade do tecido em casos de perda óssea severa da glenoide/escápula, 3) facilitar o uso e a contenção do enxerto ósseo na glenoide em casos de perda óssea severa da glenoide/escápula - principalmente naqueles casos em que o defeito da glenoide é não controlado/periférico 4) realizar a fixação da glenoide e ao mesmo tempo reconstruir o osso escapular em casos de fraturas na escápula, fraturas na glenoide e/ou fraturas acromiais, e 5) prover biomecânica articular aprimorada para rtsa, particularmente a eficiência de manguito rotador posterior, mudando-se a linha de ação dos músculos infraespinhal e redondo menor para aprimorar sua tensão muscular, e também aumentar cada rotação externa do músculo e os comprimentos de braço no momento da abdução.
