Uma máquina de embalagem (1) para embalar uma pluralidade de produtos (101, 102, 103, 104) empilhados e sobrepostos em um palete (150) com um filme (50), compreendendo o primeiro meio móvel (2) para transportar uma pluralidade de produtos separados (101, 102, 103) em um plano de movimento (H) ao longo de uma primeira direção (A); meio de embalagem (3) para embalar o filme (50) em torno dos produtos (101, 102, 103, 104), uma vez empilhados e sobrepostos em um palete (150); meio de agrupamento (4) adaptado para receber os produtos (101, 102, 103, 104) do primeiro meio móvel (2) e para arranjar e assegurar que os produtos (101, 102, 103, 104) permaneçam empilhados e sobrepostos ao longo de uma segunda direção (B) no palete (150); e uma plataforma de suporte (5) para suportar o palete (150), que pode ser movido durante a fase de embalagem ao longo da segunda direção (B), de modo a extrair e desengatar progressivamente os produtos empilhados e sobrepostos (101, 102, 103, 104) do meio de agrupamento (4), para permitir que sejam embalados pelo filme (50) provida pelo meio de embalagem (3); o meio de agrupamento (4) compreende uma tremonha equipada com uma pluralidade de paredes laterais (6, 7) que são móveis para variar o volume de agrupamento (V) da tremonha (4) de acordo com as dimensões e/ou tamanho e/ou formato dos produtos (101, 102, 103, 104) e/ou dimensões do palete (150).
