Abstract

a invenção refere-se a um processo para a síntese de amônia a partir de um gás de compensação contendo hidrogênio e nitrogênio, cujo processo compreende pelo menos duas etapas para a produção de amônia, em que: as referidas etapas reativas são realizadas em série e cada uma das referidas etapas reativas fornece um produto gasoso contendo amônia; a segunda e demais etapas reativas subsequentes recebe como corrente de alimentação, pelo menos uma porção do gás produzido na etapa reativa anterior; e ainda, uma etapa de adsorção intermediária de amônia é efetuada entre as etapas reativas consecutivas, de modo que o gás produzido em cada etapa é de baixo teor de amônia, antes da etapa reativa subsequente da referida série.
