Abstract
um método para a identificação de um tipo de erva daninha em um ambiente natural pode ser fornecido. o método consiste em receber uma imagem digital da erva daninha em um estágio inicial de crescimento junto com metadados relacionados, contornando áreas de folhas e determinando se a erva daninha é uma monocotiledônea ou uma dicotiledônea. além disso, o método compreende determinar um estágio de crescimento e determinar o tipo de erva daninha identificada, através de um nome de erva daninha e uma probabilidade da exatidão da determinação usando pelo menos um de uma pluralidade de metadados recebidos e uma pluralidade de metadados determinados durante o contorno, durante a determinação de que a erva daninha é uma monocotiledônea ou uma dicotiledônea e durante a determinação do estágio de crescimento das ervas daninhas como parâmetros de entrada para um conjunto de classificadores usando um armazenamento que compreende nomes de tipos de ervas daninhas em conjunto com uma pluralidade de conjuntos de metadados por tipo de erva daninha.
