Abstract

um dispositivo sem fio configurado para recebimento descontínuo (drx) pode operar em um sistema que usa formação de feixe direcional e pode identificar um período de tempo de acesso aleatório após despertar de um modo de suspensão de drx. o dispositivo pode, então, transmitir uma solicitação de agendamento durante o período de tempo de acesso aleatório. em alguns casos, o dispositivo pode transmitir a solicitação de agendamento usando-se recursos de frequência também associados a transmissões de acesso aleatório. em outros casos, o dispositivo pode utilizar recursos que não estão associados a acesso aleatório. a determinação de quais recursos de frequência são usados pode depender da extensão do drx. isto é, se um dispositivo tiver estado em um modo de suspensão por um longo tempo, o mesmo pode usar recursos de frequência de acesso aleatório que estão associados a uma configuração de transmissão mais robusta.
