Abstract
um método de decodificação de dados de vídeo que compreende receber um fluxo de bits de dados de vídeo codificados, os dados de vídeo codificados representando blocos de luma particionados e blocos de croma particionados, em que os blocos de croma são particionados independentemente dos blocos de luma, determinar um respectivo modo de codificação correspondente aos respectivos blocos de luma particionados, decodificar os respectivos blocos de luma particionados de acordo com os respectivos modos de codificação determinados, decodificar um primeiro elemento de sintaxe indicando que os respectivos modos de codificação associados com os respectivos blocos de luma particionados devem ser usados para decodificar um primeiro bloco de croma particionado, em que o primeiro bloco de croma particionado está alinhado com dois ou mais blocos de luma particionados, determinar um modo de codificação de croma para o primeiro bloco de croma particionado de acordo com uma função dos respectivos modos de codificação dos dois ou mais blocos de luma particionados, e decodificar o primeiro bloco de croma particionado de acordo com o modo de codificação de croma determinado.
