Abstract
um dispositivo de transmissão que inclui: um circuito de geração de sinal de transmissão que gera um sinal de transmissão utilizando um formato de quadro que inclui um campo de treinamento curto preexistente (stf), um campo de estimativa de canal preexistente (cef), um campo de cabeçalho preexistente, um campo de cabeçalho de múltiplos gigabits direcional melhorado (edmg), um edmg-stf, um edmg-cef, e um campo de dados; e um circuito de transmissão que transmite o sinal de transmissão gerado utilizando um ou mais canais, em que o campo de cabeçalho preexistente inclui um campo de comprimento de dados expresso por múltiplos bits, e o campo de comprimento de dados indica, para um terminal preexistente, informações relativas a um comprimento de dados utilizando todos os múltiplos bits, e indica, para um terminal de edmg, informações relativas a um comprimento de dados utilizando um subconjunto dos múltiplos bits, e utiliza o bit ou bits restantes para indicar informações relativas aos um ou mais canais nos quais o sinal de transmissão é transmitido.
