para determinar uma referência temporal e/ou pelo menos uma referência espacial, em um sistema de comunicação compreendendo uma pluralidade de gateways de coleta (120-124) configurados para transmitir balizas, um dispositivo (110-111) efetua para cada baliza: obter (502) dela uma informação de geolocalização corrente do gateway de coleta que transmitiu a dita baliza; obter (503) uma informação dela representativa de uma tecnologia de comunicação utilizada para determinar a dita geolocalização corrente; e obter (504) uma informação dela que indica se a dita geolocalização corrente foi determinada graças a meios internos ou graças a meios externos. o dispositivo utiliza (509) então as informações assim obtidas para determinar a referência temporal para sincronizar em tempo e frequência o dito dispositivo e/ou a ou as referências espaciais para determinar a geolocalização do dito dispositivo.
