é apresentado um dispositivo para codificar uma arquitetura de imagem, em que a arquitetura de imagem é particionada em unidades não sobrepostas (1002, 1008), sendo as unidades particionadas incluídas em uma primeira região, em uma segunda região e em uma terceira região da arquitetura de imagem (1008, 1012), estando cada uma da primeira região, segunda região e terceira regiões associada a um indicador que aponta uma ordem de rastreamento ; compreendendo meios para codificar a terceira região da arquitetura de imagem, com base no indicador da terceira região, começando em uma primeira unidade a partir da direita e a parte superior na terceira região usando uma técnica de varredura (1002, 1008, 1012, 1016) ; meios para codificar a segunda região do quadro da imagem, com base no indicador da segunda região, começando em uma primeira unidade a partir da direita na segunda região (1002, 1008, 1012, 1016); e meios para codificar a primeira região, com base no indicador da primeira região, começando em uma primeira unidade a partir do topo ou do fundo na primeira região (1002, 1008, 1012, 1016).
