a invenção se refere a um aparelho para processamento de um sinal de áudio codificado (100). o sinal de áudio (100) compreende uma sequência de unidades de acesso (100?), cada unidade de acesso compreendendo um sinal central (101) com uma primeira largura espectral e parâmetros descrevendo um espectro acima da primeira largura espectral. o aparelho compreende: um demultiplexador (1) para gerar, a partir de uma unidade de acesso (100?) do sinal de áudio codificado (100), o referido sinal central (101) e um conjunto dos referidos parâmetros (102), um amplificador da taxa de amostragem (2) para aumentar a taxa de amostragem do referido sinal central (101) da referida unidade de acesso (100?) e emitir um primeiro espectro com taxa de amostragem amplificada (103) e um segundo espectro com taxa de amostragem amplificada oportunamente consecutivo (103?), o primeiro espectro com taxa de amostragem amplificada (103) e o segundo espectro com taxa de amostragem amplificada (103?), ambos, tendo um mesmo conteúdo que o sinal central (101) e tendo uma segunda largura espectral sendo maior do que a primeira largura espectral do espectro central (101), um conversor de parâmetro (3) para converter parâmetros do referido conjunto de parâmetros (102) da referida unidade de acesso (100?) para obter parâmetros convertidos (104, 104?), e um processador de preenchimento de lacuna espectral (4) para processar o referido primeiro espectro com taxa de amostragem amplificada (103) e o referido segundo espectro com taxa de amostragem amplificada (103?), utilizando os referidos parâmetros convertidos (104). a invenção também se refere a um método correspondente.
