Abstract

a presente invenção refere-se a um dispositivo de controle de rotação (rcd) o qual divide uma velocidade de rotação de um tambor interno com relação a uma vedação rotativa e uma rotação estacionária através de um conjunto de mancal de rolamento. o conjunto de mancal de rolamento faz com que uma vedação rotativa gire a aproximadamente a metade da velocidade, ou uma porção de uma velocidade do mesmo, do tambor interno. alternativamente, um conjunto de vedação rotativo é rotado por intermédio de contato de fricção com o tambor interno, e um conjunto de vedação estacionário se encontra em contato de fricção com o conjunto de vedação rotativo para prevenir com que o conjunto de vedação rotativo gire a mesma velocidade do tambor interno. o diferencial de velocidade entre o tambor interno e a vedação rotativa, assim como entre a vedação rotativa e a vedação estacionária é reduzido por aproximadamente a metade, algo que reduz o desgaste e aumenta o desempenho e a vida útil de cada uma das vedações.
