Abstract
o presente pedido refere-se a um método para pressurizar o espaço de fluxo interno de um tubo flexível (301) submerso destinado ao transporte de hidrocarbonetos, compreendendo as seguintes etapas: (a) fornecer um tubo flexível (301) que compreende uma camada de reforço (18, 401, 504) feita de um enrolamento de passo curto de pelo menos um fio de metal com voltas não contíguas (204, 506) em torno de uma bainha de polímero (10, 20, 202, 402, 502) termoplástico que define um espaço interno, então (b) encher o espaço interno do tubo flexível (301) com um óleo, então (c) aumentar a pressão interna pi do tubo flexível (301) para pelo menos 10 mpa, a pressão interna sendo exercida pelo referido óleo, em seguida (d) manter a pressão interna pi do tubo flexível (301) a uma pressão de pelo menos 10 mpa durante um período d de pelo menos um minuto, em que o referido óleo tem uma viscosidade cinemática a 40 °c, medida de acordo com a norma d445 astm, superior a 10 mm2/s. este método permite reduzir, ou mesmo impedir, a aparência de cavitação e fissuração na bainha de polímero (10, 20, 202, 402, 502).
