a invenção refere-se a um copolímero em bloco que compreende: - pelo menos um bloco a da seguinte fórmula (i) na qual: p é um número inteiro que varia de 2 a 100, r1' é escolhido de hidrogênio e um grupo metila, r'2 é escolhido de cadeias baseadas em hidrocarbonetos c1 a c34, pelo menos um bloco b de fórmula (ii) abaixo: na qual, n é um número inteiro variando de 2 a 40, r1 é escolhido de hidrogênio e um grupo metila, z é escolhido de um átomo de oxigênio e um grupo -nr'- com r' sendo escolhido entre um átomo de hidrogênio e cadeias baseadas em hidrocarbonetos c1 a c12, g é uma cadeia baseada em hidrocarboneto c1 a c34 substituída com pelo menos um grupo amônio quaternário e opcionalmente um ou mais grupos hidroxila. a invenção também se refere ao uso de um tal copolímero em bloco como aditivo detergente em um combustível líquido de motor de combustão interna.
