a presente invenção refere-se a um sistema de ar comprimido (2) de um veículo a motor, que compreende um compressor (1) para abastecimento de pelo menos dois circuitos de ar comprimido (4a, 4b) com ar comprimido, pelo menos um primeiro e um segundo circuito de ar comprimido (4a, 4b), com em cada caso, uma válvula de segurança de circuito (3a, 3b) para o desacoplamento pneumático do circuito de ar comprimido (4a, 4b) entre si, bem como um elemento de limitação de pressão (5) para limitação da pressão de ar dentro do primeiro circuito de ar comprimido (4a), sendo que o elemento de limitação de pressão (5) está disposto funcionalmente entre o primeiro circuito de ar comprimido (4a) e essa válvula de segurança de circuito (5), que desacopla o mesmo.
