Abstract

um sistema de poço de monitoramento de formação mede com precisão as propriedades elétricas da formação atrás de revestimento para determinar posições de contato água-óleo e/ou para avaliar a integridade da vedação de cimento ao longo da vida do poço. o sistema de poço também inclui uma coluna de revestimento tendo um ou mais módulos de monitoramento de formação embutidos na mesma, cada um tendo um sensor de toroide. durante a operação, corrente é fornecida à coluna de revestimento e o toroide mede a corrente circulando para a formação. além disso, a queda de voltagem entre o sensor e um eletrodo posicionado entre a camada de cimento e a formação pode ser medida. estes dados podem, então, ser processados para determinar as resistividades da formação e/ou da camada de cimento, pelo que a qualidade de vedação de cimento, a posição da superfície de contato água-óleo, etc., podem ser extraídas dos resultados.
