Abstract

a invenção refere-se a um processo para produção de amônia e um derivado de amônia, a partir de uma alimentação de gás natural compreendendo a conversão do gás natural em um gás de síntese de recuperação; além disso, compreende a síntese da amônia, o uso da dita amônia para produzir o dito derivado de amônia, em que uma porção da alimentação de gás natural é usada como combustível para alimentar um motor a gás, e a energia produzida pelo dito motor a gás é transferida para pelo menos um consumidor de energia do processo, tal como, um compressor; e ainda em que o calor é recuperado do gás de exaustão do dito motor a gás, e pelo menos uma parte do dito calor pode ser recuperada como um calor de baixa intensidade, disponível a uma temperatura não superior a 200°c, de modo a proporcionar aquecimento do processo para pelo menos um usuário térmico do dito processo, tal como, uma unidade de remoção de co2, ou um dispositivo resfriador por absorção; a invenção também divulga uma instalação e um método de modernização.
