são providos na presente invenção um aparelho e um método para uso em comunicação por rádio, um dispositivo eletrônico e um método para uso com o dispositivo eletrônico. o aparelho compreende: uma unidade de determinação de local, que é configurada para determinar uma subdivisão de célula correspondente ao local geográfico de um dispositivo de comunicação, em que cada célula compreende múltiplas subdivisões de célula; e, uma unidade de determinação de piloto, que é configurada para determinar uma sequência de piloto em ligação ascendente correspondente à subdivisão de célula como a sequência de piloto em ligação ascendente do dispositivo de comunicação.
