Abstract

a presente invenção refere-se a uma composição de desidratação e um método de utilização da mesma para correntes de gás de secagem, em particular correntes de gás natural, em que a composição compreende um ou mais álcoois poli-hídricos. o referido álcool poli-hídrico tem de preferência um teor de hidroxil igual a ou superior a 31 por cento e igual ou inferior a 75 por cento do peso da fórmula do composto. as referidas composições de álcool poli-hídricos são particularmente adequadas para desidratar e dessalinizar a corrente de gás que compreende água e um ou mais sais.
