Abstract
PROCESSO PARA A PRODUÇÃO DE SÍLICA COLOIDAL ATIVADA. A presente invenção se refere às sílicas coloidais tendo um baixo valor S e um alto teor de sólidos, à preparação das mesmas e o uso das mesmas na produção de papel. Quando usada na produção de papel, as sílicas coloidais da invenção apresentam bom desempenho de retenção e drenagem, de maneira tal que elas podem ser usadas em quantidades menores, comparadas às sílicas coloidais convencionais. A presente invenção também se refere a um aparelho e um método para produzir tais sílicas coloidais ativadas.PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF ACTIVATED COLLOIDAL SILICA. The present invention relates to colloidal silicas having a low S-value and a high solids content, their preparation and their use in paper production. When used in paper production, the colloidal silicas of the invention show good retention and drainage performance, such that they can be used in smaller amounts compared to conventional colloidal silicas. The present invention also relates to an apparatus and method for producing such activated colloidal silicas.
