a presente invenção refere-se a um aparelho para monito-rar o nível de superfície de um fluido em um receptáculo, um método para instalar o aparelho no receptáculo e um método para usar o apa-relho e o receptáculo. o aparelho da presente invenção é aplicável em todos os receptáculos, recipientes, tanques, rampas de bicos penden-tes, tanques de descarga, reatores, etc. em que informações a respeito do nível de superfície do fluido presente no receptáculo são neces-sárias para controlar a aplicação. um bom exemplo é um receptáculo a partir do qual o fluido está prestes a ser bombeado adicionalmente, de modo que o nível de superfície no receptáculo seja mantido dentro de certos limites, por meio do que a operação da bomba deve ser ajus-tada em relação ao nível de superfície no receptáculo.
