Abstract

SISTEMAS E MÉTODO PARA TRATAR ÁGUAS RESIDUAIS. Métodos e sistemas melhorados para tratar águas residuais produzidas em operações de mineração e/ou de furo de poço subterrâneo são fornecidos. Numa modalidade, os sistemas compreendem: uma unidade de eletrocoagulação que recebe água residual de uma fonte de água residual, executa um tratamento de eletrocoagulação na água residual utilizando uma ou mais células de EC e produz uma primeira corrente de fluido que compreende um ou mais materiais sólidos e um efluente líquido; uma unidade de separação de sólidos acoplada a jusante de e em comunicação de fluido com a unidade de eletrocoagulação que separa pelo menos uma porção dos materiais sólidos na primeira corrente de fluido do efluente líquido; e um filtro compreendendo um meio de filtração carregando metal acoplado a jusante de e em comunicação de fluido com a unidade de separação de sólidos que filtra o efluente líquido da unidade de separação de sólidos para produzir um a corrente de água tratada.
