Abstract

CONVERSOR DE POTÊNCIA E MÉTODO OPERACIONAL PARA CONVERTER PELO MENOS UMA TENSÃO CA EM UMA TENSÃO CC. A fim de transmitir energia elétrica entre um sistema de tensão CC e pelo menos um sistema de tensão CA de fase n é fornecido um conversor de potência (10) e compreende um transformador de fase n (20) e um circuito de conversor de potência (12) com módulos de MMC n (30), em que o número n é pelo menos três. Os módulos de MMC (30) são conectados em série. O conversor de potência (10) compreende capacitores de desacoplamento (16) para prover energia elétrica para o transformador (20) e/ou para remover energia elétrica do transformador (20). Cada enrolamento (21) de um primeiro lado (21s) do transformador (20) forma um circuito em série (17) com cada um dos capacitores de desacoplamento (16), em que cada um dos circuitos de série (17) é conectado em paralelo com cada um dos módulos de MMC (30). Os métodos operacionais (100, 200) para converter uma tensão CC (UDC) em pelo menos uma tensão CA trifásica (U22, U22', U22") e para conectar pelo menos uma tensão CA trifásica (U22, U22', U22") uma tensão CC (UDC) são também fornecidas.
