Abstract
resumo patente de invenção: "separador de óleo/água com coalescência eletrostática de alta velocidade". a presente invenção refere-se ao aparelho e método para separação de água a partir de uma mistura de água e óleo incluem pelo menos dois vasos separadores alongados (64, 66) orientados em um declive e conectados um ao outro de modo que um fluido predominante de óleo fluindo ascendentemente passe a partir do primeiro vaso separador (64) até o segundo vaso separador (66) onde ainda a separação eletrostática de água a partir do fluido predominante de óleo ocorre. cada vaso possui um eletrodo (60) na sua extremidade superior preferivelmente conectado a uma diferente fonte de tensão. a entrada de cada vaso está localizada em relação ao eletrodo (60) para fornecer um vaso de fluxo ascendente ou descendente. adicionalmente, o primeiro vaso (64) pode estar em uma elevação diferente do segundo vaso. um vaso adicional pode estar incluso com saída a partir do primeiro vaso evitando o vaso adicional, o segundo vaso ou ambos. os defletores (134) podem ser adicionados na parte de coleta de água (138) de cada vaso para reduzir turbulência e distância de decantação.
