resumo “sistema e método para estimar e atenuar ruído em dados sísmicos” um sistema e método para atenuar ruído em dados sísmicos representativos de uma região de interesse de subsuperfície incluindo receber os dados sísmicos; transformar os dados sísmicos em um domínio em que os dados sísmicos têm uma representação esparsa ou compressível para criar dados sísmicos transformados; dividir o domínio em janelas, em que as janelas representam locais conhecidos espaço-temporais nos dados sísmicos; determinar estatísticas dos dados sísmicos transformados em cada janela; determinar um filtro para cada janela com base na estatística dos dados transformados; aplicar o filtro para cada janela aos dados sísmicos transformados em cada janela para criar dados sísmicos filtrados; e realizar uma transformada inversa dos dados sísmicos filtrados para criar dados sísmicos atenuados em ruído.
