Claims (12)
- Emulsão, caracterizada pelo fato de que compreende:
- (i) de 65 a 74% em peso de uma fase aquosa, e
- (ii) de 26 a 35% em peso de uma fase de óleo que compreende (a) de 65 a 75% em peso de um óleo de triglicerídeo caprílico/cáprico, e (b) de 25 a 35% em peso de pelo menos um ácido graxo poli-insaturado e/ou derivado do mesmo (óleo de PUFA), em que o óleo de PUFA compreende mais do que 30% em peso de ácido eicosapentaenóico (EPA) e ácido docosa-hexanóico (DHA), e o óleo de PUFA compreende mais do que 35% em peso de ácidos graxos ômega 3 e/ou derivados do mesmo;
- (iii) menos do que 4% em peso de pelo menos um emulsificante, em que o emulsificante é selecionado dentre goma acácia, goma xantana, ou um éster de sorbitano alcoxilado.
- Emulsão de acordo com a reivindicação 1, caracterizada pelo fato de que o óleo de PUFA compreende de 45 a 80% em peso de ácidos graxos poli-insaturados.
- Emulsão de acordo com a reivindicação 1 ou 2, caracterizada pelo fato de que a fase de óleo compreende de 12 a 25% em peso de EPA e DHA.
- Emulsão de acordo com qualquer uma das reivindicações anteriores, caracterizada pelo fato de que o óleo de PUFA compreende menos de 20% em peso de ácidos graxos saturados e/ou derivados dos mesmos tendo de 10 a 24 átomos de carbono.
- Emulsão de acordo com qualquer uma das reivindicações anteriores, caracterizada pelo fato de que adicionalmente compreende menos de 7% em peso de pelo menos um estabilizante.
- Emulsão de acordo com a reivindicação 5, caracterizada pelo fato de que o estabilizante é a goma guar e/ou goma xantana.
- Emulsão de acordo com qualquer uma das reivindicações anteriores, caracterizada pelo fato de que compreende triglicerídeo cáprico/caprílico, óleo de peixe concentrado, éster de sorbitano alcoxilado, goma guar e goma xantana, e opcionalmente xilitol e/ou óleo de limão.
- Emulsão de acordo com qualquer uma das reivindicações anteriores, caracterizada pelo fato de que o emulsificante é goma acácia.
- Suplemento dietético, caracterizado pelo fato de que compreende a emulsão definida em qualquer uma das reivindicações anteriores acondicionada em um recipiente.
- Suplemento dietético de acordo com a reivindicação 9, caracterizado pelo fato de que a emulsão é acondicionada em um sachê ou uma ‘barra alimentar’.
- Uso de uma emulsão como definida em qualquer uma das reivindicações 1 a 8, caracterizado pelo fato de ser como um suplemento dietético, provendo o indivíduo com sua ingestão diária recomendada de ácidos graxos ômega 3 em uma única porção de 5ml com base na decisão da Autoridade Europeia para a Segurança dos Alimentos (EFSA).
- Uso de acordo com a reivindicação 11, caracterizado pelo fato de que a emulsão é acondicionada em um sachê ou uma ‘barra alimentar’.
