Abstract
PLATAFORMA DE SENSOR ASIC DIGITAL. A presente invenção refere-se a um sensor óptico que pode ser implantado dentro de um animal vivo (por exemplo, um ser humano) e pode ser usado para medir a concentração de um analito em um meio dentro do animal. O sensor óptico pode receber sem necessidade de fios e pode ter capacidade de comunicação bidirecional de dados. O sensor óptico pode incluir um substrato semicondutor no qual vários componentes de circuito, um ou mais fotodetectores e/ou uma fonte de luz podem ser fabricados. Os componentes de circuito fabricados no substrato semicondutor podem incluir um comparador, um conversor de analógico para digital, um transdutor de temperatura, um controlador de medição, um retificador e/ou um meio de armazenamento não volátil. O comparador pode liberar um sinal indicativo da diferença entre as saídas dos primeiro e segundo fotodetectores. O controlador de medição pode receber medições digitalizadas de temperatura, de fotodetector e/ou de comparador e gerar informações de medição, que podem ser transmitidas sem necessidade de fios do sensor óptico.
