Abstract

ESTABELECIMENTO DE UMA LIGAÇÃO DE SERVIÇO. Um método de estabelecimento de uma variedade de ligações de serviço entre o equipamento do usuário e um nó de acesso de rede em uma rede de telecomunicações sem fios, e um equipamento do usuário e um programa de computador operável para realizar esse método. O método inclui: a determinação da existência de tráfego de dados a ser enviado entre o equipamento do usuário e o nó de acesso de rede; o estabelecimento de uma primeira ligação de serviço para comunicação do tráfego de dados; a determinação da existência de tráfego de dados a necessitar do estabelecimento de uma segunda ligação de serviço, a ser enviado entre o equipamento do usuário e o nó de acesso de rede; a determinação de um parâmetro da condição rádio pré-definido indicativo da condição rádio necessária para uma comunicação bem sucedida de outro tráfego de dados na segunda ligação de serviço entre o referido equipamento do usuário e o nó de acesso de rede; a avaliação da condição rádio experimentada no equipamento do usuário e, se o referido parâmetro da condição rádio for cumprido, o estabelecimento de uma segunda ligação de serviço para comunicação do outro tráfego de dados. Tal método permite ao equipamento do usuário determinar se uma segunda ligação de serviço é provável de ser estabelecida com sucesso, oferecendo desse modo, uma oportunidade para minimizar a sinalização desnecessária da rede e a probabilidade de uma segunda ligação de serviço anular a primeira ligação de serviço. (Figura 2)
