The mixture is heated until the recycled aluminosilicate reaches the ideal melting temperature. heating continues until the additive begins to melt, filling the voids between the fused aluminosilicate particles. then the part is rapidly cooled to stop melting without cracking. The resulting part has high strength due to the aluminosilicate fused particles and low water absorption and high density due to the fused additive component that fills all the pores between the aluminosilicate fused particles.
