painel de vidro à prova de balas e aparelho resistente a balas associado trata-se de um painel de vidro à prova de balas (22), em particular para uso em um veículo motorizado, que compreende um bloco balístico (10) que compreende uma pluralidade de painéis de material de vidro (1,3,5,7,9), cerâmico ou plástico ligados uns aos outros sobre suas superfícies em um compósito em camadas e intercamadas de ligação interpostas (2,4,6) de material plástico, em que pelo menos uma tira reistente a balas (13) é fornecida, a qual tem, em particular, um corte transversal essencialmente retangular e que cobre o bloco balístico (10) do painel de vidro à prova de balas (22) em suaborda periférica.
