método para identificação de um código de barras mono ou bidimensional em dados de imagem de entrada, dispositivo de leitura de código de barras, programa de computador e produto de programa de computador. método para identificação de um código de barras mono ou bidimensional em dados de imagem de entrada, o método compreendendo as etapas de: obter primeiros dados de imagem de uma primeira imagem do objeto, a referida primeira imagem sendo adquirida usando um primeiro comprimento de onda de iluminação; obter segundos dados de imagem de uma segunda imagem do objeto, a referida segunda imagem sendo adquirida usando um segundo comprimento de onda de iluminação sendo diferente do referido primeiro comprimento de onda de iluminação; calcular um fator de ponderação com base num processamento estatístico de valores de pixel dos primeiros dados de imagem e valores de pixel dos segundos dados de imagem; e gerar terceiros dados de imagem ao calcular uma combinação ponderada usando os valores de pixel dos referidos primeiros dados de imagem, os valores de pixel dos referidos segundos dados de imagem, e o referido fator de ponderação.
