Abstract

sistema e método para enviar mensagens referentes a uma emergência ocorrida em uma instalação. a poesente invenção refere-se a sistemas e métodos para o envio de mensagens referentes a uma emergência em uma instalação. as mensagens podem ser enviadas a um serviço de resposta de emergência ou diretamente a outra instalação através de uma rede mesh sem fio. a rede mesh sem fio pode compreender um ou mais nós que encaminham dados de medição, tais como dados de leitura do medidor de utilidade. as mensagens de emergência podem ser atribuídas a uma prioridade mais alta de modo que elas possam percorrer a rede mesh sem fio mais rapidamente. um dispositivo que recebe uma mensagem de emergência pdoe indentificar o endereço da instalação associada, por exemplo, ao identificar um endereço associado ao serviço de utilidade também provido na mesma instalação. o endereço pode ser direcionado a um serviço de resposta de emergênca e uma confirmação ou outra mensagem pode ser enviada de volta para a instalação. um dispositivo em uma instalação pode receber várias mensagens de um centro de controle, tal como um centro meteorológico, ao longo da rede mesh sem fio.
