Abstract

patente de invenção: processo para reduzir óxidos de nitrogênio do gás de escape de um forno de coque. a presente invenção refere-se a um processo para a redução de óxidos nítricos do gás de escape de um forno de coque que contém uma variedade de câmara de coqueificação e paredes aquecedoras com serpentinas aquecedoras (12, 12<39>), dispostas entre as câmaras de coqueificação e destinadas ao aquecimento indireto das câmaras de coqueificação. nas serpentinas aquecedoras (12,12<39>) é queimado um gás combustor (16) que consiste no todo ou em parte de gás de forno de coque, sendo formado um gás de escape que contém óxidos nítricos. para o gás de escape, a uma temperatura entre 700<198>c a 1100<198>c, é aduzido um agente redutor e através de uma reação de gás homogênea, entre o agente redutor e os óxidos nítricos será reduzida a parcela de óxido nítrico do gás de escape. em seguida, o gás de escape será conduzido por um regenerador (4) para a recuperação de calor. além disso, depósitos de carbono em partes quentes da linha adutora de gás combustor são queimados com ar de descarbonização, sendo que este ar de descarbonização - durante um semiperíodo de regeneração, no qual a adução de gás combustor para uma serpentina aquecedora (12<39>) é desligada - pela linha de queimador e bocal de gás de combustão (15<39>) alocados, é introduzido nesta serpentina aquecedora (12<39>), sendo removível juntamente com o gás de escape quente de uma outra serpentina aquecedora (12). de acordo com a invenção, o agente redutor será dosado com o ar de descarbonização e junto com este será posto em contato com o gás de escape quente.
